[racket] Efficiency of tight loops in Racket

Thanks for this info.
Perhaps I should install linux besides windows 7, but I am not sure how to
do that. I am not even sure it is possible. I'm afraid that just trying may
ruin my system. The Windows help desk is not very helpful.
