[racket] processor-count

Hi All, Is there any reason why the (processor-count) function is only available in the futures module?
For example if I want to start number of threads that is equal to the number of cores,I also need to require the futures module. Is there any way around it?Should there be any other way? :-) Thanks, Peter Ivanyi
