[plt-scheme] SICP environement model vs (plt) scheme evaluation model

Hi,
I'm familiar with SCIP's environement model and I've read PLT's reference section on (plt) scheme evaluation model. I noticed some differences, but I didn't fully grasp how much different they really are (e.g. frames vs locations).
Could someone give it a try or refer me to an online text that discuss it?
