[plt-scheme] Why do layman programmers care about Currying?

Definitely for brevity of anonymous functions. Which Haskell provides, 
scheme not so much. So i used them a lot in Haskell and never in Scheme.

btw on a trivial note - the use of layman as a working programming seems 
contradictory to me.
