[plt-scheme] recovering the read input?

Hi -

is there a way to get back the read inputs from `(read)`?  Basically, both
strings "(foo a b)" and "(foo      a         b)" produces the same list by
`read`, but they are diferent inputs.  Is there a way to get the original
input after the data have been consumed by `read`?
