Good suggestion, unfortunately I'm not in the Chicago area; I am
attending classes at my local university and there are plenty of
lispers and schemers to talk to.

When you get your Scheme interest group going you should the the folks
know at schemers.org so they can list your group on their website
(http://www.schemers.org/).
