Yes.  Currently SchemeUnit and the builtin DrScheme
test system are separate.  There may be unification in
the future but so far it isn't something I've
seriously discussed with the PLT folk.

Sorry for spamming the list on this one.  I thought
you were talking about SchemeUnit graphical interface.
