<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_extra">Fun topic!<br><br>In pure mathematics there is the evocative expression <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuous_truth">vacuuous truth</a> to describe statements about the empty set, e.g. "I have eaten all the vegetables on my plate" when there were no vegetables there to begin with.
