</div>Yes, I am losing this battle even with those of my own students who work on syntactic matters (Matthew, Ryan, and Shriram).<br></blockquote><br></div>It may be partially because "macro" is such a simple word (besides its heavy usage). If you invent a small and good sounding noun, maybe it will catch up? What about a "racmo"? :)<br>
