[racket] Check for Updates behind proxy

At work I am behind an HTTP proxy. Check for Updates does not work, no matter what I put in Edit / Preferences / Browser / HTTP Proxy. It hangs for about 15 seconds and then says "tcp-connect connection failed, address download.racket-lang.org, port number 80, the host did not respond".
