I think the only obstacle to this is that some parts of the second
edition text aren't complete yet.

The first edition text is one of the first links in the Getting Started page:

    http://docs.racket-lang.org/getting-started/index.html

Maybe it does make sense to add a link to the 2nd edition with the
caveat that it's still a work in progress?
