[racket] DrRacket enhancement

Is there any way to set up DrRacket so that it keeps automatic
parenthesis completion but also allows it to be overriden.  For
example is it possible to set DrRacket up so that <ctrl><shift>(
prints ( and not ()  but ( on its own still prints ()  etc.
