[plt-scheme] populate compiled ... and preserve stack-trace ...

When I select populate compiled/etc and disable preserve stack-trace etc, in the language menu of DrScheme, my modules are not compiled and when I close and reopen the file, the preserve stack-trace etc is enabled again. Is this intentional or is it a bug?
