DrRacket comes with a programmer-initiated name completion feature: ctrl . 

It is not quite what you want for Beginner but it is mostly like what Eclipse offers. 
I don't use it on a regular basis and I find it bad for beginners -- like you -- but 
I think we should be fair and admit that it exist.
