The reason I brought it up was to preemptively avoid future
complaints. Every unnecessary difference, even a little difference,
with how PLT is distributed and installed means people quit along the
way just because it is different. When being different offers no
benefit, it is advantageous to be as similar as possible to other
source/language distributions.
