What needs 32-bit, specifically?  I've been running 64-bit
mzscheme and mred on my FreeBSD box for a while now.

I had thought that 64-bit Snow-Leopard versions would be the
same sort of tweak that allows 32 and 64-bit FreeBSD versions.

Or are you all talking about something that I missed, up-thread?
