[plt-scheme] Unicode Testing

Hi all,

Is there any way [even if heuristic] to test if an output port supports unicode?

I would guess the answer would have definitely to be heuristic but
even then it would be interesting to know the answer to if the output
port corresponds to a terminal screen, does the screen support unicode
or will it print giberish?
