[plt-scheme] Fwd: [CS-Services] unscheduled downtime of multiple servers

Subject: [CS-Services] unscheduled downtime of multiple servers

An air conditioning unit has failed in Ryerson, requiring us to
 shut down many departmental, research, and instructional services
 to reduce heat output in the overheated machine room. We have
 rerouted AC capacity from another room, which helps some, but we
 are forced to leave many services off to avoid widespread hardware
 failure from overheating.

 We are working with University A/C engineers to get the main unit
 back online and hope to have services restored as soon as possible.
 Unfortunately, our earliest guess for full restoration is around
 noon on Sunday, and it may take longer.

 We apologize for this inconvenience, and hope you are comfortable
 somewhere cooler than the machine room (but not as cold as outside!)
