[plt-scheme] Image library?

Is there a library where I can open png/gif/bmp/jpg etc files, and get every pixelcolor of the image?
I want to get into basic imagesearch.

Also, is there a site to browse all libraries in PLTscheme? both standard library and user contrubutions.
