[plt-scheme] What does the Scheme file extension ".ss" stand for?

I prefer .scm too.  My father was a NYTimes reporter in Germany  
1938-41.  He had plenty of run-ins with the SS and Gestapo.

Grant:  I'm glad you asked the question.  I always wondered the same  
thing.
