Interesting. I had never realized that C++ is in exactly the same
boat as Scheme.
Or is Scheme in the same boat as C++ since the items I am referring
to date back
to 1984-1986? In either case, it is nice to know that we're not alone
and that we
can always point to C++ as a comparably defined language. -- Matthias
