[plt-scheme] Books on oop techniques?

I am banging out a baby implementation of the 'Information
Visualization Reference Model'(Card et al, 99) on top of mred, and
because it is like a tiered MVC, I am getting all tied up in oo
decisions.

A recent entry in the 'beautiful code' blog convinced of that I am not
alone in this.

I suspect I should read some of the plt games or gui code?

Any [book] suggestions?
