[plt-scheme] File synchronization and saving plugin interest?

I have a question related to files saving.

Is it possible to specify a location and a name for auto-saving ?

For example, I am editing a file /drafts/scheme/irc.ss, then DrScheme will
create a file named irc.ss~ in the same directory.
With emacs, I have rewrite the rules, so that backup file is named
|drafts|scheme|irc.ss and put in ~/.backups

Is there similar customization possibilities ?
