[plt-scheme] plt web-server: adjust-timeout! ?

I've done some more research. When I adjust the 'default-servlet-timeout' to
5 seconds, it gets invalidated after 5 seconds, whatever the value of
timeout
or adjust-timeout! may be. If I set it to 1, the servlet gets
invalidated after
1 second. It seems completely insensitive to adjust-timeout!

What can I do about this?
