That's what all the wizards say.  :)  Let's agree that it allows the
programmer to work at a higher level of abstraction, with a more
declarative style, than my transform-bars function.
Now, syntax-local-lift-expression *really* looks like magic.  Thanks,
Jens. This may be the tip I was looking for.
