So at the end of the day the quite verbose syntax doesn't bother you? 
Could you elaborate a little on the things you personally gained (and 
lost) by switching to Scheme?
I'm asking because I recently dumped Python in favor of Scheme but I' 
still feel a little uneasy about the verbosity of Scheme (the list 
comprehension SRFI relaxed this a bit).
