Mystery solved:

  "We're a medical company and are looking into medicinal properties
  of PLAI, which is an extract from Zingiber Roxb root."

(Of course, everyone knows that PLAI is terrific for your health.  Now
I just need to slap together some Google ads for medicinal references
on the PLAI page, and watch the revenues come pouring in.)
