[plt-scheme] cvs checkout -r 209 plt, disappearing plt

Hi,

Sorry, if I'm missing something obvious.  I'm trying to cvs checkout 209

  cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at anoncvs.plt-scheme.org:/cvs checkout -r 209 plt

During checkout the directories are listed as expected, and, if I look,
I see plt has been created and is being filled with directories, but no files.

After checkout finishes, the plt directory has disappeared.
This happens on RedHat9 and Suse9.2.

ps. If I checkout the exp branch, the plt directory does exist after checkout
and is filled with files.
