[plt-scheme] Java Bindings to PLT Scheme

Fellow PLTers,

I have recently come to the conclusion that Java is the new C, at least 
as far as the open source world is concerned. I have been searching for 
some open source packages for distributed processing/enterprise 
integration and most of the interesting stuff I have found is Java 
based. I find this to be a step in the right direction, but still, what 
I really want is to use Scheme, PLT that is. So, I was wondering, as 
anyone looked into providing Java bindings to PLT Scheme? It has been 
done before for Common Lisp [1] and my experience with Dotnet [2] tells 
me it should not be terribly hard. I would not minding putting some 
time into this, but I lack skills in the Java arcane. Would anyone be 
interested in helping me out?
