[plt-scheme] Characters overlap (Japanese problem)

They look ok on my XP machine (not overlapped, and I'm pretty sure
they'd be readable if I could read Japanese).

Maybe MrEd is picking a bad font. Is the problem confined to the
program and interactions windows, or are menu and button labels also
mangled?
