[plt-scheme] RE: Executables

Why was the option using the mzc compiler
[http://download.plt-scheme.org/doc/mzc/mzc-Z-H-5.html] to create
'large' self-contained executables not mentioned? Is it not considered a
useable alternative?

I was trying to get this to work on win2K, using Borland's [free] C++
5.5.1 compiler, but got stuck on the following error:

[snip]\Temp\mzcTMPLaunch.c:
Error E2141
C:\PROGRA~1\plt\./collects/setup/..\..\collects\mzlib\..\..\collects
\compiler\mzc.h 225: Declaration syntax error

What might I be doing wrong?
