[plt-scheme] Inserting GUI objects (like buttons and hierlist) to editor or pasteboard?

Hi:

The multimedia nature of the editor and pasteboard toolkits just begs to
allow inserting other GUI objects like buttons and lists. 

Does it currently do this? 

I know that images and editors are insertable, even within each other.

I have in mind building an application that allows the creation of
completely interactive documents that embed actionable buttons, animated
text (using scrolling messages), and lists that contain configurable
options.

Any ideas?
