Possibly :-)  At LShift we ran an internal version of
the MoshiMoshi wiki (runs in the PLT web server) for a
long time (months?) without problem.  This was on a
powerful server box; probably had ~1GB memory.  What
happens if you decrease the continuation lifetime? 
The default is 30mins; maybe setting it to 5mins would
give better performance and if so indicate what is
gobbling memory.
