The relevant message may have been visible in the logs (which you can see via Console.app) just in case you're in a situation where you can't easily switch to the cmdline DrRacket.<div><br></div><div>Robby<span></span><br>

Then I get to see that the error message, that tells me that<br>
that I forgot to run make (well it says "bytecode file needs re-compile").<br>
And indeed I did forget to run make.<br>

After running make, everything works as expected.<br>
<br>
For the future I will use bin/drracket rather than open DrRacket.app.<br>
