When you use `git log --follow' on the destination file, do you get the
expected history?

It seems to work right for me the first five files above. The sixth and
seventh really are gone.

I haven't been able to find a file where `git log --follow' fails to do
what I want, so far (not just right now, but in all of my experiments
to date).
