I'm not sure either...  I should have added "suggestions welcome".

(And a quick reminder: my personal experience with the @-forms is that
designing a *good* concrete-level syntax extension is two orders of
magnitude more difficult than writing a macro.  (Which, or an even
more unrelated not, is exactly why macros are so great...))
