Is it possible that Javascript is disabled on your browser?

I've just newly installed and tried Epiphany 2.28, and although it did
seem like it didn't work at first, I double checked my browser's
preferences. The "Enable Javascript" checkbox under the Privacy tab
was unchecked. After I checked the box, I reloaded the page, and saw
the expected falling ball.

I have not checked Iceweazel yet because I don't have ready access to
a Debian box around here.
