[plt-scheme] parser funky

When I update from SVN, it takes 20-30 minutes to rebuild everything
(configure; make; make install). I'm not that make savvy, so I'm
suspecting there's a less disruptive and painful path to upgrading. Am
I just being overly optimistic?
