4.x runs fine for a few minutes, and then DrScheme just hangs, and
never returns.

My XO is out on loan right now, otherwise I would check out the error message.

I had built it like this:

./configure --prefix=$WORKDIR/$DESTDIR --disable-gl --disable-shared
--enable-origtree

It was: 3.99 (revision 10030)
