I would start by doing a Google search for pages that link to 
drscheme.org, on the assumption that anybody who teaches a course 
using DrScheme will provide a link for students to download it 
themselves.

DrScheme has always struck me as quite a solid, stable program. 
About five years ago I did have a student whose Windows box went into 
blue-screen-of-death when he started DrScheme, but this kind of 
report is extremely rare -- and hey, it's Windows, what do you 
expect? :-)
