Was there a definitive HOWTO on how to compile mz-208-src-unix under CYGWIN_NT-5.1. I simply want to use the quack.el in Xcygwin's Emacs just like I do on the Linux side. Many combinations of ./configure-make-make install have failed, and archive hunting seems to turn up ambiguity. Olwe
