[plt-scheme] does = really require 2 arguments ?

Indeed, you may want a module

(module my-preferences mzscheme
   (provide (rename =2 =))

   (define =2
     (case-lambda
       [(x) #t]
       [y (apply = y)]))
   )

so that you can program in your "own" Scheme. -- Matthias
