I'm slowly reworking SchemeQL to be more compositional.  One of the
first things I did was get rid of most of the macrology.  I'm not
really sure if that helps you in any way, but I'm at least sure the
INSERT stuff works better than in the current trunk.  If you want to
take a look---it's on a branch called "MikeSurgery".
