I have never really understood why SRFI-0 has caught on so
universally. SRFI-7 certainly seems to provide equivalent
functionality; I would expect that there must be some people who
prefer it.

Actually, I have my own opinions on the subject, but
since I prefer SRFI-0, I will keep silent about them.
